Overnight Oats: Three Ways.

Overnight Oats: Three Ways.

I love overnight oats, they are delicious and save the in the morning. I have a few different flavour combinations I fall back on when I'm lacking breakfast inspiration so I thought I'd share them with you today!

Oats and milk on a white background

Base Recipe

All of my overnight oats come from the same base recipe:

40g oats
50g no fat greek yoghurt
120ml milk (I use oat milk)
1 tbs chia seeds
1 tbs maple syrup

It's easy and tasty as it is but the following toppings make it taste so much better!

Blueberry and Walnut

A handful of frozen blueberries
A handful of chopped walnuts
A sprinkling of cinnamon (just go with what you like - I personally prefer more cinnamon than most!)

Banana bread baked oats recipe

Banana Bread

Half a chopped banana
A handful of pecans
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Peanut butter and Jelly

1 tbs Jam
1 tbs Peanut Butter
1 tbs chopped Pistachios

Oats in a bowl

A lot of overnight oats you see online put them into mason jars. I personally prefer a bowl as it's easier to mix and then I cover it and pop it in the fridge. Make sure you give it a good striker before eating in the morning!
